Thomas L. Heitkamp age 78 of 5266 Montezuma Acres Dr. Celina, Ohio died at 10:07 AM on Thursday August 8, 2013 at his home. He was born on September 4, 1934 in Maria Stein, Ohio to the late Frank & Emma (Voskuhl) Heitkamp. He married Martha Koverman on November 23, 1957 in St. Patrick, Ohio. She survives in Celina. He is also survived by children Dan & Barb Heitkamp, Maria Stein, Sandy & Mike Stein, Ft. Recovery, Jackie & Randy Winner, Osgood, Jay & Diana Heitkamp , Maria Stein, Lisa & Rich Barnabei, Pickerington, LeeAnn & Chuck Schwieterman, Maria Stein & Jill & Ted Nagel, Maria Stein, 23 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, brothers & sister Ivo & Wilma Heitkamp, Philothea, Marie Will, New Bremen, Frank Heitkamp, Minster, sister-in-law Pat Heitkamp, Versailles & brother-in-law Bill Munch, Urbana. He is preceded in death by grandson Peter Nagel, brother and sisters Adela & Carl Golden, Linus Heitkamp & Elsie & Jack Conner, Dolores Munch, sister-in-law Joyce Heitkamp & brother-in-law Louis Will. Tom is also survived by his wife's family Bill & Lois Drees, Vandalia, Tom & Rose Koverman, St. Marys, Jim & Jean Heitbrink, Minster, Sister Jean Rene' Hoying, Dayton, Bill & Diane Gels, St. Henry, Dave & Helen Hoying, St. Patrcik, Ken & Monica Boerger, Ft. Loramie and Denny & Rita Sollmann, Sidney. He was a member of the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, Montezuma, Ohio and a former member of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, Maria Stein, Ohio. He was also a member of the Celina Moose and the Minster F.O. E. 1391. He was an Army Veteran from 1954 to 1956. He formerly worked for Bornhorst & Hoying Construction for 21 years and then in 1977 created Heitkamp Construction. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Monday, August 12, 2013 at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church with Rev. Gene Schnipke, Rev. Ken Schroeder & Rev. Alfons Minja con-celebrants. Burial will take place in St. John Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM on Sunday, August 11, 2013 and from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Monday, August 12, 2013. Memorial contributions may be made to the State of the Heart Hospice. Condolences may be made at
