Paulette D. "Babe" Hemmelgarn age 65 formerly of Minster, died at 2:20 PM on Monday, August 18, 2014 at Elmwood of New Bremen. She was born on September 4, 1948 in Minster Ohio to the late Bernard & Alvina (Overman) Hemmelgarn. She is survived by brothers & sisters Carol & Jim Opperman, New Bremen, Marlene & Larry Prenger, Minster, Ronald & Diane Hemmelgarn, Villa Ridge, MO, Dennis "Duff" Hemmelgarn, Minster, 61 Nieces and Nephews and 1 deceased. She was preceded in death by parents and infant twin sister Mary. She was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, Ohio. She was also a member of Minster F.O.E. 1391 Auxiliary, attended Minster Schools, a Minster Wildcat Fan and enjoyed needlework and playing cards. Babe worked at F. J. Stallo Library for many years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Friday, August 22, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, August 21, 2014 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Friday, August 22, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to the Minster Athletic Booster and Elmwood Activity Fund. Condolences may be made at www.hogenkampfh.com.
