Mark D. Ruschau age 54 of New Bremen, Ohio died at 6:45 PM on Sunday, January 5, 2014 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys, Ohio. He was born on July 11, 1959 in Coldwater, Ohio to the late Jerome "Jim" & the late Pauline (Mescher) Ruschau. He married Theresa Nerderman on March 13, 1993 in New Bremen, Ohio. She survives in New Bremen. He is also survived by brothers & sister Michael & Karen Ruschau, Cridersville, Sandra & Tim Hirschfeld, St. Marys, David & Molly Ruschau, Avon, Ohio, in-laws Rich & Norma Nerderman, Minster, Sherry & Rob Coffey, St. Marys, Jeff & Eula Nerderman, Fishers, IN, and numerous nieces & nephews. He was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen. He graduated from Brunnerdale High School Seminary, Canton, Ohio and from St. Joseph's College in Rensselear, IN. He worked for Cooper Farms, St. Henry, Ohio and wrote sports articles for The Daily Standard, Celina, Ohio. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 Friday, January 10, 2014 at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen with Fr. Tom Mannebach celebrant. Burial will take place in German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 9, 2014. The family requests casual attire for the the viewing on Thursday. A viewing will also be held from 9:00 to 10:00 AM on Friday, January 10, 2014. Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation. Condolences may be made at
