Marjorie A. Rethman, age 74 of 8823 Foote Rd. Yorkshire, Ohio died at 4:00 AM on Wednesday, November 20, 2013 at Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. She was born on October 16, 1939 in St. Henry, Ohio to the late Ralph & Alfreda (Siefring) Rose. Her mother survives in St. Henry. She married Leonard G. Rethman on April 28, 1962 in St. Henry and he survives in Yorkshire. She is also survived by children: June & Alan Rindler, Versailles, Nick & Linda Rethman, North Andover, MA, Joyce & Bob Ahrens, Versailles, Brenda & Mike Pope, Villa Hills, KY, twelve grandchildren; Pete & Laura Bohman, Kati Bohman, Alanya Rindler, Catalina Rethman, Martina Rethman, Ben Ahrens, Jessica Ahrens, Madison Ahrens, Zachary Ahrens, Maria Pope, Natalie Pope, Teresa Pope; brother & sisters: Thelma & Dennis Brackman, Centerville, Wilma & Bob Edmondson, Toronto, Canada, Betty & Denny Kugler, Laura, OH, Dot & Gary Aho, Golden CO, Dennis & Sally Rose, Fairfield, Linda & Gary Stelzer, Coldwater, sister-in-law Eileen & Eugene Mescher, North Star. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, and St. Barbara's Ladies Sodality. She was a homemaker and worked on the family farm with her husband. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10:30 AM on Monday November 25, 2013 at St. Nicholas Catholic Church with Rev. David Zink, Celebrant. Burial to take place at St. Martin Cemetery, Osgood. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 1:00 to 6:00 PM on Sunday, November 24 and from 9 to 10 AM on Monday November 25. The family requests memorials to go to the Osgood Rescue Squad. Condolences may be left at
