James J. Kronenberger age 83 of 132 N. Garfield St. Minster, Ohio died at 3:05 PM on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital St. Marys. He was born on February 27, 1931 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Alphons & Loretta (Schwartz) Kronenberger. He married Judith Kuntz on May 30, 1959 in Dayton. She survives in Minster. He is survived by children: Lori & Mike Tangeman, Minster, Jim Jr. & Janet Kronenberger, New Bremen, Beth & Russ Eber, Wapakoneta, Jill Hensley, Lebanon, Andy & Heather Kronenberger, Fletcher, Gary & Laura Kronenberger, Cincinnati, Wendy & Jeff Barthel, San Antonio, TX, Heidi & Greg Beister, Virginia Beach, Bill & Danielle Kronenberger, Waco, TX, Amy Kronenberger, Elida; 27 grandchildren, 5 step grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren & 4 step great grandchildren, sister Mary Ann & Bill Imfeld, Centerville, in-law Jack Ryan, Trotwood and numerous other in-laws. He was preceded in death by daughter Erin Kronenberger, sister Donna Ryan. He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster. He was also a member of the St. Augustine Men's Choir, Minster, Knights of Columbus, and Minster American Legion. He as a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War, a lifelong Cincinnati Reds Fan, an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed his grandchildren's activities. He retired from Minster Machine. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 Saturday, July 19, 2014 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will take place with full military honors by Minster Firing Squad in St. Augustine Cemetery. Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, July 18, 2014 and from 9:00 to 9:30 AM on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Condolences may be made at
